The focus was on an exciting \u2013 and at the same time challenging \u2013 look at Donald Trump as a \"dealmaker\" and the question of the extent to which his approach from the 80s, shaped by his book \"The Art of the Deal,\" can still be considered contemporary today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the live talk, we discussed why this highly dominance-oriented negotiation style should be viewed critically from a psychological perspective, while at the same time being effective in certain contexts. However, the main focus was on what conclusions we can draw for modern, constructive, and practical negotiations \u2013 for example, in salary discussions, difficult professional situations, or under high stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Successful negotiations today don't thrive on maximum toughness, but on clarity, psychological understanding, relationship competence, and sustainable solutions.
